Week 8- Pensacola (E-mail to mom & dad)

Dear Mom and Dad,

This week in the mission field really sucked. I was transferred back into Fox Run, so when I went to Ward Counsel, I didn't have much to report on since I wasn't here all last week. Fox Run has a car again, but I have a new companion. His name is Elder Packard. He is from Rigby, Idaho, my first companion was from Utah. Elder Packard has been out for 8 Months. I like him alot more than Elder Thomas because Elder Thomas was supposed to be training me and most of the time it felt like I was training him. Elder Packard is great. He is a model missionary.

We lost our cell phone this week, which makes it so hard to do missionary work. Dad can you ask the Carlson's to give me Sam's e-mail address. I can't afford all the foreign stamps. Mom can you send me so anti-itch gel or cream because I don't know how, but the bugs bit me under my sock, so the thing won't heal because my feet sweat a little. They itch like crazy. This week we were running out of everything and my companion was lower on money, so guess who to buy everything.

Since I have been in this area longer, I have to lead it, but I still don't know what I am doing. So, to make a long story short, I use to have nails and I need you to send me gloves. Anythings fine, as long as they have fingers. I guess it was too much to ask for a normal mission. No other part of my life is normal, so why should this be any different. I say that because you might get a new companion every transfer. So far, I have had 3 companions and been in 2 areas, all within one transfer. That is my week in all its glory. I will be sending home my memory card soon.
